ISSUANCE OF OFFICIAL STUDY INVITATIONS FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS

In other countries, official admission letters are issued by colleges and universities, but in Belarus, the admission system is quite different.

Once eligible applicants send their admission fee, their admission documents are forwarded to the migration department, as in Belarus, admissions for foreign nationals are only approved by the migration department.

At the migration department, this process takes 2 weeks, and an official study invitation is handed over to the admissions office.

Once issued, this invitation is sent to the applicant, as he or she requires it for their Belarus student visa processing.

BELARUS STUDENT VISAS FOR FOREIGN NATIONALS

For most countries, a Belarus student visa is issued upon arrival with the help of an official study invitation from the migration department and an OK-TO-BOARD for departure from the country’s airport.

In a few countries where Belarusian embassies are located, their nationals must obtain a Belarus study visa before arrival. These countries are Nigeria, Pakistan, India, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates, but these nationals may also obtain visas on arrival.
