WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR STUDYING GENETICS IN BELARUS?
International and national students who have completed secondary school may apply for admission to one of the state universities in Belarus for their genetics degree programs at biology faculties with a genetics department.
Genetics in Belarus is taught at bachelor’s and master’s levels; those national and international students who want to study master’s in genetics must already hold a bachelor’s degree from one of the state universities in Belarus or abroad.
HOW DO I GET INTO GENETICS COURSE IN BELARUS?
The admissions process is quite simple, and according to the process, all foreign students scan their secondary school certificate copy with an international passport copy in the email of the admissions office, which is mentioned below.
A secondary school certificate is required for admission at the bachelor’s level, while those foreign students who want to study masters in genetics at state universities in Belarus scan their bachelor’s degree also for admission assessment.
Upon receiving the required documents, the admissions office starts the eligibility assessment process, which takes two days.
After assessment, the admissions staff notifies the international applicants through an email of admission possibilities.
FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
Those foreign students who are found eligible are required to send their admission fee and scan the fee receipt in the email of admissions staff, which they used to send their documents for assessment.
Once international applicants send their admission fee, they have to scan their admission fee slip to admissions staff.
FOR INELIGIBLE APPLICANTS
There are sometimes international applicants who are not found eligible, but they should not be worried, as each international student is not left without admission normally.
These ineligible applicants are required to scan more academic certificates, if required, for the completion of their admission process.
Once they send the required academic document, the admissions staff reassesses their eligibility.
WHO APPROVES THE ADMISSION IN BELARUS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS?
In Belarus, admissions for foreign students are approved by the migration department only.
Once admissions staff receives the admission fee, their documents are sent for approval to the migration department, and within 2 weeks, an official study invitation is issued.
Once issued, this official study invitation is sent to the applicant for his or her visa processing.
