ADMISSION PROCESS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS IN THE FIELD OF AGRICULTURE IN BELARUS

All international applicants must scan their educational certificate copy with an international passport copy visible and colored in our email (studyabroadbelarus@gmail.com).

Once we receive the scanned copies of the applicant’s documents, these documents are handed over to the admissions staff for assessment. This whole assessment period consists of 1-2 days, and the applicant is informed by the admissions office of his or her eligibility or ineligibility.

Eligible international applicants send their admission fee, and once we receive the complete requirements, the processing time is two weeks, as all admissions need approval by the migration department.

Once admission is issued, it is couriered to the address of the international applicant, and he or she may depart, but in a few countries, nationals must obtain visas before arrival as Belarus embassies are located in their countries.

2: What degree levels are available in agriculture education at state universities in Belarus?

There are two degree levels available in Belarus for agriculture: undergraduate and graduate.

If you have passed secondary school, you may apply for admission for an undergraduate degree, which consists of 4 years in Belarus.

A master’s in agriculture is taught for two years at agriculture universities in Belarus.

For example, Nigerian international students are required to present a copy of their secondary school certificate for admission to the undergraduate faculty, while for a master’s degree in Belarus, Nigerian international students present their bachelor’s degree copy too.

International Ghanaian students also require the same qualifications as Nigerian international students.

International Cameroonian students are also required to send a copy of their secondary school certificate for admission to the undergraduate faculty. For masters courses in agriculture, Cameroonian international students are also required to present their bachelor degree.

International Zambian students also should have the same qualifications for admission to undergraduate and graduate faculties.

3: How may I send educational documents and a travel passport copy to Belarus for admission to agriculture faculties?

We accept scanned copies of educational documents and travel passport copies for admission assessment.

4: How do I get an official study invitation once I have sent admission documents?

Once admission documents are assessed by admissions staff, eligible foreign students are sent an eligibility email.

Eligible foreign students send their admission fee, and their admission documents are forwarded to the migration department. Within 2 weeks, the migration department issues the official study invitation.

This invitation is sent to you for your Belarus study visa processing.

5: Where do I obtain my Belarus student visa?

Most of the country’s nationals are issued Belarus visas on arrival at Minsk International Airport, while in a few countries, nationals are required to obtain their Belarus study visas before arrival.
