DEGREE LEVELS FOR MATHEMATICS IN BELARUS
Mathematics in Belarus is offered at bachelor’s and master’s levels. A bachelor’s degree in mathematics is offered for 4 years at the undergraduate level, and a master’s degree consists of 2 years at state universities in Belarus.
Secondary school certificate-holder foreign students may qualify for admission at one of the state universities in Belarus for mathematics.
For masters in mathematics, applicants must hold a bachelor in the same field of study.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR MATHEMATICS DEGREE
Admissions are based on the current qualifications of foreign and national students. For an undergraduate mathematics degree, foreign students must scan their secondary school certificate with a passport copy to the email of the admissions office.
Foreign students who want to study masters in mathematics are required to scan their bachelor’s degree for assessment.
This assessment process takes two days, and all international applicants are notified by email of their admission eligibility. Those foreign students who are found eligible send their admission fee and scan the fee receipt in the same email as the admissions staff.
Once their admission fee is received, their documents are forwarded for the processing of an official study invitation at the migration department. This issuance process takes two weeks.
An official study invitation approved by the migration department of Belarus is sent to the foreign applicant for visa processing.
BELARUS STUDY VISA PROCEDURE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Belarusian student visas are the most convenient visas for foreign students among all European countries.
Once international students have an official study invitation, they depart with this invitation and an OK TO BOARD letter from the country’s airport, and the visa is stamped at Minsk International Airport for 110 dollars. International students also pay a fee of 170 euros at the immigration counter upon arrival for insurance.
Belarusian embassies are situated in a few African and Asian countries, and their nationals must obtain visas before arrival and scan us the visa and ticket copy 3 days at least before departure, but these nationals may also obtain visas on arrival.
These countries are Nigeria, Egypt, India, Kenya, South Africa, and Pakistan.
All foreign students who require study visas for Belarus before arrival or on arrival must scan their air ticket for the preparation of reception documents for immigration at Minsk International Airport.
