HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO STUDY FORESTRY IN BELARUS?
Forestry in Belarus is taught at many state universities in different cities and at bachelor’s as well as master’s levels.
A bachelor degree in forestry consists of four years at one of the state universities in Belarus.
A master’s in forestry consists of two years in Belarus.
WHAT QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO STUDY FORESTRY IN BELARUS?
At the undergraduate level, all national and international students must have passed secondary school.
For masters courses, international applicants already have with them a bachelor degree from Belarus or their homeland.
ADMISSION PROCESS AT STATE UNIVERSITIES IN BELARUS
According to the admissions process, all international students scan their school leaving certificates with an international passport copy in the email of admissions staff, and these required documents should be scanned in readable format.
For masters in forestry, international applicants scan their bachelor degree too for eligibility assessment.
Once these documents are received, the admissions staff starts the eligibility process, which takes 2 days, and the applicants are informed by email of their eligibility or ineligibility.
Eligible international applicants are required to send their admission fee and scan the receipt in the email of admissions staff for records.
Ineligible applicants are asked for more academic documents if required for the completion of their admission process.
As quickly as possible, we will receive the missing academic documents, which will expedite the admission process for ineligible applicants.
WHO ISSUES THE ADMISSIONS FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS IN BELARUS?
Once the admission fee slip is received by scan in the email of the admissions office, the admission documents are forwarded to the migration department for the issuance of an official study invitation.
In Belarus, admissions for international students are issued by the migration department.
Once issued, the official study invitation is handed over to the admissions staff.
Admissions staff sends the invitation to the applicant as he or she requires it for a Belarusian student visa.
HOW DO I OBTAIN A BELARUS STUDENT VISA?
Once an international applicant receives the official study invitation approved by the migration department, they may depart with this official study invitation and an OK TO BOARD letter from the country’s airport.
This on-arrival student visa option is available for most countries.
A foreign student lands at Minsk Airport; he or she hands over his or her invitation and other required documents to immigration, and immigration staff pastes the student visa in their passports for 110 dollars.
An insurance fee of 170 euros is also to be paid at Minsk International Airport.
All foreign students are strictly advised to scan their air ticket three days before departure, as admissions staff have to prepare their reception documents for immigration at Minsk International Airport.
In some countries where Belarusian embassies are situated, their nationals must obtain a Belarus student visa before arrival and scan the visa copy with an air ticket to the admissions office.
These countries are Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Kenya, South Africa, and Egypt, but these nationals may also obtain visas on arrival.
