FOR ZIMBABWEAN STUDENTS

At present, there are about 50 Zimbabwean international students studying in Belarus at different universities and colleges, and more admissions are being processed for the 2024 intake.

Normally, Zimbabwean international students come to study general medicine, and some study engineering degrees.

International Zimbabwean students are good at English, so they join their degree programs directly in the English medium of instruction.

The main cities from which Zimbabwean international students normally come are Harare and Bulawayo, and Harare is the capital of Zimbabwe.

BELARUS VISA PROCESS FOR ZIMBABWEAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Before 2022, Zimbabwean international students had been obtaining their student visas upon arrival at the Minsk International Airport, but after the opening of the embassy of Belarus in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwean international students with an official study invitation approved by the migration department obtain their student visa from the Belarusian embassy in Harare.

It is the responsibility of the international students to inform us three days in advance about their departure, as we have to prepare their reception documents for immigration at Minsk International Airport to receive them with all legal formalities.

Documents Required upon Arrival

2: Official study invitation approved by the Migration Department of Belarus

3: Educational Certificates (Original)

4: Birth Certificate (Original)

5: Medical Fitness Certificate (by a registered doctor with a stamp)

6:10 passport-size photographs

7: Return Air Ticket

Zimbabwean international students pay the visa fee of $65 at the Belarusian embassy in Zimbabwe, and the visa issuance time is two weeks.

ADMISSION PROCESS FOR ZIMBABWEAN STUDENTS AT BELARUS UNIVERSITIES

The process is the same for all international students to get admission in Belarus at any university, but the admissions are finally approved by the migration department.

Interested international applicants must scan their secondary school certificate with an international passport copy to the admissions staff email (studyabroadbelarus@gmail.com), and these documents are assessed according to the requirements of the desired course.

Assessment takes 1-2 days, and the applicant is informed, and then he or she transfers the admission processing fee and scans the receipt to the admissions office.

Once admissions staff receives the admission fee receipt, they forward the documents of the respective international applicant for processing, and this processing takes 2 weeks.

Once an official study invitation is issued, it is couriered to the address of the applicant.

Upon receiving the invitation letter, Zimbabwean international applicants apply for their student visa at the embassy of Belarus in Harare.

In other European countries, admissions are confirmed by the colleges and universities, but in Belarus, invitations and admissions are confirmed by the Migration Department of Belarus for international students, not by the colleges and universities.

All the required documents are accepted by scan.

Once we receive all the requirements, the admission processing time is 2 weeks at the migration department.
